TAIWAN: VEHICLE MARKET UP 163% IN DECEMBER

New car registrations in Taiwan rose by 162.8% year-on-year in Dec to 44,977 units, according to interpretation expelled by a Ministry of Transport, as buyers rushed in to a marketplace in expectation of a year-end withdrawal of supervision subsidies.
